“Echo”
The screening of the short film Echo went very well earlier this year here in Norway, and is currently being edited for an international audience.
The short features Anne Cecilie and the amazing actress Kari Onstad Winge. Kari has been featured in many films and has been in the business for over 40 years and is highly recognized for her work. Written and directed by the up and coming directer Iselin Saga.
We are exited to see how the international market will respond to it as the theme of the film is very heavy and this short is filled with fast pace Norwegian dialogue. A mother-daughter relationship out of a Bergman movie with incest on the plate. An important subject that desperately needs to be talked about not hushed about. 1 out of 10 has experienced it themselves, then why are we not talking about it?
There are measurements being put in to action with the goal of making this film into a feature within a couple of years. Anne Cecilie is proud to be part of a project with such an important topic and she hopes that there will be changes out of getting this touchy subject out there through this film.
